“Scout Sundays” Ski Outings &
Merit Badge Testing Available at Ski Butternut
Ski Butternut makes skiing affordable for Scouts.
“Scout troops have been holding ski trips
and learn to ski outings at Ski Butternut for
years.” stated David Ryel, Group Sales Manager
for Ski Butternut. Scouts (Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts,
Cub Scouts, Weblos, Brownies…) along with
families and friends can get a $25 lift ticket
every Sunday of the season. They can also take
advantage of reduced rates for rental skis, snowboards
and lessons.
These special offers for Scouts are available
for any pre-registered scout troop. Offer is valid
for any size troop even if only 3-4 kids and a
few parents are interested. Families and friends
are welcome to join the scouts, and they too will
receive these special rates.
Discounts will only be issued at the Group Booth.
All Scouts must present some form of a scouting
ID to receive the discount. Scout rates are not
valid with any other offer. For more information

FREE Boy Scout Merit Badge Testing will be conducted
at Ski Butternut on March14, 2004. Scouts will
need to purchase a greatly reduced $15 lift ticket
to participate in the free testing to see if they
qualify for award of their skiing merit badge.
Advanced reservations are required. Subject
to limited space availability. For more details
